SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- A recognizable face was at the state park in Saratoga on Sunday, as the auto show wrapped up.
Actor Edward Herrmann was on hand, serving as one of the show's judges. An avid car enthusiast and no stranger to the restoration process, Herrmann said he is honored to serve as a judge and saw about a half dozen cars he would like to drive off the lot himself.
Herrmann said, “"Growing up in Detroit, I guess it's in my blood. I love this venue and it's my second year here and I predict nothing but that it will grow and grow because the layout here is great, the people here are wonderful."
Susan Carbonaro, Saratoga Automobile Museum Executive Director said, “They search out these cars on the internet all year long. And there's a lot of effort that goes into making this a premier car event in the entire country."
Carbonaro said the proceeds from the auto show will go to the children programs at the museum.
